Dhaka-- (UNB)- The Executive Committee of National Economic Council yesterday approved two projects with an outlay of Tk 209.14 crore including project aid component of Tk 54.74 crore.

The approval was given at an ECNEC meeting held at Bangladesh Secretariat with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

The approved projects are construction of a gas-based power plant at Bhola and development of Shahbajpur gas field.

Ministers and secretaries concerned attended the meeting, said an official handout.
